Day 78

Little things that make me smile.....cooking tonight in my new kitchen, I love how the stove is on the island. I don't feel like I am stuck looking at the wall.

Day 77

Another Saturday spent at the ballpark.

Day 76

A late night trip to Save Mart for an Ice Cream run. $30.00 later, we are all satisfied.

Day 75

We're Goin'Buggy! Tonight was the 3rd grade performance of "Goin' Buggy!" A wonderful musical. Zach is our last one we will get to see in this production. Here is our Superstar!

Day 74

The trampoline is back in business. It provides hours upon hours of fun for the boys.

Day 73

Day 73 seems to be eluding me. I am not sure a photo was taken. It should have been the piles in the hallway that needed to be put away from our trip. So if you take a moment to visualize.......you can see them!

Day 72

We headed back to Magic Mountain on our way out of town to ride the coaster X2 just one more time. It is agreed that it is the best roller coaster we have ever been on. We hit the road and headed home. What a great weekend.

Memorial Day So. Cal Trip 2009

We really had a wonderful time......watch this clip and you will see.

Day 71

We headed out to Beautiful Santa Barbara and spent the day at the beach. It started out very overcast and cold and ended up sunny and beautiful by the end of the day.

Day 70

Up early, we headed to Magic Mountain for some adventures with Giant Roller Coasters. We had a great time! The weather was perfect, we found a way to deal with the long lines that was very worth the $$ and everyone was happy! Who is our extra child you ask? That is Big Zack, a great friend of Tanner and Taylors. (We have to distinguish between the Zach's lest we get confused, so the names Big and Little have stuck).

Day 69

We made to Southern California late Friday night.

Photos added

I have added photos from the last couple of weeks. Take a look back to the days that had "photos coming soon" and enjoy!

A teaser photo

The night is growing later and I am getting tired. Here is a teaser photo from the weekend. I have lots to share!

Home again....

We just returned home from a little get-a-way for Memorial Day weekend. I have pictures loading and will post soon. I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

Day 68

Zach finally got his wish and played catcher during his last game. I am hoping my new computer will be here tomorrow so that I can have my editing software back and get back up to date.

Day 67

Zach earned his wolf rank in Cub Scouts! Way to go Z man

Day 66

School work seems never ending at this time of year. The boys are VERY ready for school to be done.

Day 65

Hot! Hot! Hot! and it's only May!

Day 64

We have had 1,000 hits on our blog!

Day 63

Zach with his teacher, Mrs. Jackson

Riley with his teacher, Mrs. Raemaker

It's open house time at school. A time where each class showcases what they have been working on all year. It's a great time to meet with the teachers and see what the kids have been up to.

Technical Difficulties

We are experiencing technical difficulties with my computer. It seems that mine does not want to work since we moved and therefore I am having a difficult time getting phtotos off the camera. No worries, there are daily photos, just waiting to be viewed. I will get them posted as soon as possible. Here's to hoping that the UPS man shows up soon at the door. We are heading out of town for Memorial Day Weekend and we should be up and running normally by the time we get back home. I will post what I can in the meantime.

Day 62

Taylor was part of a Theatre Showcase at Whitney and performed in a short play called "Thoroughly Modern Millie". Here is a photo and a video clip from his performance.

A full calendar

I awoke this morning to realize that the day was very full. You will find us this afternoon at Zach's baseball game, Riley's indoor soccer game, Taylor's theatre showcase, Picking up Tanner from football practice and then racing the 3 older boys to youth night. When do you suppose we will find time for dinner? And just when I thought I would enjoy some quiet time while they are all in school, this is what I heard "we have nothing to eat in this house". This is most likely a true statement so it looks like I am heading to the grocery store. We love the craziness of our life, I just wish it would stretch out a bit sometimes :)!

Day 61

Chris and Zach finishing up his Book Report project. How nice to have dad helping with these projects!

Day 60

We are enjoying the hot tub at the new house. At the end of the day, it is nice to soak and relax. We are finishing up school projects and anticipating the end of school. Tanner has started Spring Football training, Taylor has a Theatre Showcase and Riley and Zach both have big projects. We are looking forward to things calming down in the next few weeks. Our summer is full of fun things but we hope to enjoy some of the days off.

Day 59

Riley and Chris working on the science project that is due this week. Which drink do you think has the most electrolytes? Is gatorade really worth the money we spend on it? Stay tuned for the results.

Day 58

Although Taylor is no longer taking piano lessons (there just wasn't enough time) he still loves to play.

Day 57

No Photo for today!

Day 56

Riley is playing indoor soccer in preparation for the upcoming soccer season. He loves the speed of the game and is having a great time. Here is a clip that I caught of one the two goals that he scored in his last game.

Day 55

No Photo for Today!

Day 54

The New House!

Day 47-53

Moving!
It rained all weekend, and we were all exhausted but we love the new house and it seems all worth it now that it's over!

Did you know that wearing a sombrero while moving helps you out?
Neither did we!

This was Zach's Idea of moving help!
