day 231

Gratitude Daily. . . . . .wonderful opportunities that my children have to learn and grow. We live in a fantastic community with great schools and programs.

day 230

Gratitude Daily.....a warm and comfortable home on this cold morning. We have enjoyed a beautiful Fall.

this photo has nothing to do with my gratitude daily today but WOW!, I am grateful for these guys!

day 229

Gratitude Daily.....a great 9 year old who has such a zest for life. His 4th Grade class exploded their volcanoes this morning.

day 228

Gratitude Daily is a month long gratitude journal that I am doing on facebook and am going to incorporate it into our blog. As we enjoy this beautiful time of year, it's important to reflect on all the things we are grateful for. It's hard to see what you don't have, when you are noticing all the things that you do.

Gratitude Daily......wonderful parents, thanks mom & dad!

day 227

day 214

Texans certainly know how to eat, and eat well is what we did while in Dallas. We had Chicken Fried Steak as big as a frisbee and enough fajitas to serve an army. Down home southern cooking at it's finest!

day 213

Chris, Katie & Tanner spent the weekend in Dallas TX with Meg, Brandon, Tate & Coy. Although the weather was not so great, the company was fabulous. The boys golfed and the competition was stiff, but alas Tanner lost to Uncle Brandon on the 18th Hole. (I think he still needs to wash the dogs to pay his debt!!)

day 211 & 212

Ronin game for a visit with Grandma & Grandpa for the weekend. Roxie was in heaven. I think she wore poor Ronin out. It took her a couple of days to adjust after he left, she really missed him.

day 210

in hopes of a homecoming date. . . . . .

day 209

our little girl has grown so much....they boys are getting tired of her biting and I am getting a little tired of trying to housebreak her but none the less we love her.

CAUTION: A MARATHON OF POSTS COMING.....

a small promise

i have not been very good with taking photos this past 6 weeks and I am promising to be better! it has been difficult to find things to photograph without being repetitive. Our life right now is alot like groundhog day.....wake up, school, homework, sports. repeat.

day 208

Chris and the little boys (except they really aren't little) went golfing. They love to golf and we just don't seem to be able find the time to do it that often.

day 207

Today was the big day! Their behind-the-wheel drive test to get their drivers license. They both passed (with flying colors!). Tanner went first and I really wasn't nervous but as Taylor took his test my stomach was in knots, not because I didn't think he would pass but what an awful day it was going to be if he didn't. That was a situation I just didn't want to have and luckily we didn't! We celebrated over lunch and then I watched them drive away on their own and there was something inside of me that hurt just a bit. This part of being a mother is the hardest! We love you so much boys!

day 203-206

Tanner & Taylor's 16th Birthday Celebration! We had a party to celebrate the big day for the boys with all of their friends. Good Food, Good Fun and Great Kids!
